Ok, if I’m being honest, I don’t know where to begin with this review. Ok so the wait is as about 5 minutes, and we were at peak eating time. So I thought that was impressive. Ms. Cindy was our server and she was so knowledgeable, kind, informative, attentive, and made me feel like I was at home with family, she’s absolutely amazing! Extra ! For Ms. Cindy! We ordered the Poke Nachos and oh my lanta, absolutely the best thing I have ever eaten. I couldn’t stop. The flavors, the crisp crunch, the absolutely fresh fish, O!M!G! I am drooling for more! I can’t even put into words the happy dance my body was doing with eating this! The perfect levels of sweet, salty, savory, spicy, crispy, and then add the best fresh fish (raw) of your life. I’ve had raw fish in 19 countries and hands down the absolute best!!!!! Thank you Ms. Cindy for the recommendation and your kind hospitality! You’re the reason we are loyal to Hilton! The sunset ocean views were the piece to an already beautiful evening with my bestie and EPIC food!!! Drinks were made perfectly!!!

Tropics Bar & Grill quickly became our go-to spot for both breakfast and dinner during our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The location was unbeatable—right at our hotel and just steps from the beach and pool. It made starting and ending our days easy and relaxing. The atmosphere was casual, family-friendly, and perfect for soaking in the island vibes. The food was absolutely exquisite, especially the breakfast. I’m still savoring the taste of the fresh papaya—it was that memorable. Every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. If you’re staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village or nearby, Tropics Bar & Grill is a must-visit. Great food, great location, and even better service. We can’t wait to come back!

Tropics Bar & Grill offers a delightful dining experience right on the beachfront. The restaurant is attached to a hotel, and while there might be a wait, it’s well worth it for the gorgeous views of the beach and sunset. They offer varied seating options including outdoor, partial indoor, and fully indoor areas. The alcoholic drinks are potent and tasty—I highly recommend the Tropical Itch and Frozen Mango Daiquiri. Do try the poke nachos, they’re a must, though beware the peppers if you’re not into spicy food ! The brisket with garlic mashed potatoes is exceptionally tender and flavorful, falling right off the fork! Although I wasn’t a big fan of the accompanying slaw with this meal, there was plenty of other delicious food to enjoy. The Hawaiian seafood medley was creamy and perfectly cooked. With a diverse menu, there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend for a meal with a view!

Our server Sally was super friendly and attentive! Great view of the beach as well. 4 stars vs 5 because it was A bit pricey ($10 for 2 scrambled eggs) but food was delicious- the avocado toast (requested to be made with an over medium egg) was delicious, could’ve used a tad more wasabi flavor and expensive for what you got. Not pictured was the açaí bowl, only complaint if any, was wanting the granola a bit crunchier and not so soft. We’ll definitely be back, but maybe not as often due to price.

Generous portion sizing and friendly staff. The food isn't good enough to be a destination place in itself. However, a great view of the beach and fairly tasty food make it an easy spot to enjoy an afternoon.

We ate here multiple times while at the Hilton. For breakfast, Ube pancakes and Loco moco (tastes like salisbury steak on rice) unique but only 3 stars; belgium waffles, fried spam, and island farmers market omelet great and would order again . Best lunch/dinner dishes were the spicy poke, the panolio burger, the poke nachos, the crispy shrimp/delicious rice, and blue hawaiian - all great. Great views of the beach, keep the menu to shoo away the swarm of pigeons. Be prepared to spend $50+ per person.
